Nancy O'Dell started her career in broadcasting by working as reporter for WPDE-TV, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning news anchor and crime reporter for WCBD-TV. Her reporting on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to being the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these instances. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston reporting, was a anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving into Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends. In addition, she serves as an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She covered events such as The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. In addition to co-hosting Pre-ShowArrivals to The Emmys & The Golden Globes. She also hosted Miss USA's pageant, as in addition to the Miss Universe Pageant.
